Prices: free, sale price, pay what you want

You set prices on the Price tab of the product editor. Prices are in your store's currency; see Change your store's currency.

Set the price

Enter the Price and click Save. Customers pay once, unless the product is a subscription.

Give it away free

Set the price to 0. When the cart costs nothing, checkout shows Get it free: buyers enter their email and get their download link without a card. Free products work even before you connect Stripe or PayPal.

Show a sale price

1. Turn on Show a sale price.
2. Enter the Sale price. It has to be lower than the price.
3. Click Save.

Customers see the old price crossed out next to the sale price. To end the sale, turn the switch off and save.

Let customers pay what they want

1. Turn on Let customers pay what they want. The price field becomes Minimum price.
2. Optional: enter a Suggested price. It's filled in for customers, and they can change it.
3. Click Save.

This option is for digital products. It isn't offered for courses, physical items or products with versions.

Let customers choose a quantity

Turn on Let customers choose a quantity for gifts, team licences or several items. Customers can then buy more than one in a single order. With licence keys, each one bought gets its own key.

Subscriptions

For a subscription, the tab shows the price and how often it's Charged. Sale prices, pay what you want and quantities aren't available on subscriptions. See Sell a membership or subscription.

Other ways to change what customers pay

• Several editions at different prices: Sell versions. Each version has its own price and sale price.
• Money off with a code: Create discount codes.
• Tax added at checkout: Add tax to your prices.
