Choose what customers get right after they pay: files, links, keys or codes, and a message.
Open ProductsOn this page
The Delivery tab in the product editor sets what customers get right after they pay. You can mix files, links, keys or codes, and a message. Customers find all of it in their order email and on their order page.
Add what customers get
- Open the product and go to the Delivery tab.
- Pick one to start: Files, A link, Keys or codes or A message.
- To add another kind, use the Add row under what's already there.
- Click Save.
Files
- Any file type, up to 20 files.
- The size of each file depends on your plan: up to 100 MB on Free, up to 2 GB on paid plans. The tab shows your limit.
- Drop files on the tab, or click + Add more files.
- PDFs: tick Stamp the customer’s email. Every page then shows "Sold to", the buyer's email and the date, so a shared copy shows where it came from.
- Videos: Customers can download it is ticked when you upload. Untick it and customers can only watch the video on their order page.
Links
Use a link for a Notion or Canva template, a Google Drive folder, a private page or a group. Each link needs a name and an address that starts with https://.
Keys or codes
One key per customer, like a licence key or a gift card code. See Sell licence keys and codes.
A message
Message after purchase shows on the order page and in the order email. Use it for how to start, a shared password or a thank-you.
Sending it yourself
You can leave the tab empty if you deliver the product another way. Buyers are told the store sends it to them directly.
Send new files to past customers
Once a product has paid orders, a Send new files to past customers switch appears. While it's on, each time you save changed files, links or message, every past paid order gets them too. Customers see the new version on their order page. Marketsy doesn't email them about it, so tell them yourself if it matters.
Courses, versions and physical items
- For a course, this tab is called Lessons. See Create a course.
- With versions, each version has its own files, links, keys and message. See Sell versions.
- For a physical item, the tab says You post it. See Sell physical products.
What buyers see, and storage
Buyers get a receipt email with their links, and an order page where they can download everything again. See What buyers get after they pay. Your files count toward your plan's storage.
Write to us in the chat. A real person on the Marketsy team answers, and you'll get the reply here and by email.
