Collect and approve reviews

Buyers can review what they bought with a star rating and a few words. Published reviews show on your product pages. Unless you change it, each new review waits for your OK first.

How buyers leave a review

On their order page, buyers see a review box: a rating out of 5, optional text, and Post review. Memberships don't show the box. In your admin, reviews that come from an order carry a Verified buyer badge.

Approve reviews

1. In your admin, go to Products → Reviews.
2. The To review tab shows one waiting review at a time, oldest first.
3. Click Publish to put it on the product page, or Not now to look at the next one. A review you skip keeps waiting.

The Published tab lists live reviews. Unpublish takes one down. The side of the page shows your Store average.

Let reviews go live on their own

1. Go to Settings → Review settings, or click Edit next to Review settings on the Reviews page.
2. Turn on New reviews go live on their own.
3. Click Save.

When it's off, each new review waits for you on the To review tab.

Ask customers for a review by email

1. In Review settings, turn on Ask customers for a review by email.
2. Change the Email subject if you like.
3. Set Days after purchase: how long to wait before the email goes out.
4. Click Save.

Each customer gets one email, a few days after they buy. Both settings are off until you turn them on.
