Create a course

A course is a product made of lessons, grouped into sections. Buyers open the lessons from their order page after they pay.

Create the course

1. In your admin, go to Products → All products and click Add product.
2. Name it, pick Course and set the price.
3. Click Create draft. Or click Or let AI draft it · 2 credits to have AI draft the sections and lessons too.
4. In the editor, open the Lessons tab and click Add lessons (or Edit lessons).

Write your lessons

The Course content page shows the outline on the left and one lesson on the right. An empty course starts with Section 1 and Lesson 1.

• Add lesson adds a lesson to that section. Add section adds a new section.
• Click a section's name to rename it.
• Drag lessons and sections to reorder them. A lesson can move to another section.
• Each lesson has a Lesson title and a Lesson page for text, pictures and video.
• Under Video and files, click Add video or file.
• Ask AI in the lesson text drafts or improves it. It uses AI credits.

The reading time is worked out from the lesson's text. Everything saves as you type: the top shows Saving…, then Saved.

Draft lessons

A lesson with nothing in it stays a draft: customers don't see it until it has something in it. Your product page lists finished lessons only.

Preview and publish

Click Preview as a customer to see the course as a buyer does. To publish, the course needs a name, a picture, a price and at least one finished lesson. Go back to the product and click Publish.

You can add and change lessons after you publish. Buyers always see the lessons as they are now.

What buyers get

After paying, buyers open their order page from the receipt email and click Start the course. Once they've started, it reads Continue the course. Their progress is kept in the browser they use. See What buyers get after they pay.
