Sell physical products

A physical item is something you post to the customer. They pay for it and a delivery rate at checkout, then you send it and mark the order shipped. Physical products need a paid plan.

Create a physical product

1. In your admin, go to Products → All products and click Add product.
2. Name it, pick Physical item, set the Price and click Create draft.
3. Add pictures on the Media tab.
4. Optional: on the Price tab, show a sale price, let customers choose a quantity, or sell versions like Large or Dark.
5. Click Publish.

On the Free plan, Physical item shows Upgrade, and picking it opens the plans instead. See Plans and what they include.

Delivery: you post it

The product's Delivery tab shows You post it and your delivery rates. Customers pick one rate at checkout.

With no rates at all, delivery is free everywhere. Click Add a delivery rate (or Edit delivery rates) to set what you charge and where you post to. See Set delivery rates.

At checkout

Buyers choose their country under Deliver to and pick a delivery rate. They enter their street address in the payment step. The address shows on the order.

Ship the order

Paid orders with physical items wait in Orders under Needs action and To ship. Add the carrier and tracking number, then click Mark as shipped. You can tick a box to email the buyer the tracking link. See Ship orders and add tracking.
