Change your store's currency

Pick the one currency your prices are shown and charged in. Changing it keeps the numbers, not the value.

Your store has one currency. Buyers see your prices in it, and Stripe or PayPal charge them in it. New stores start in US dollars (USD).

Change the currency

  1. In your admin, go to Settings. Next to Currency, click Change.
  2. Pick the new Currency from the list.
  3. Click Save.

The new currency applies to the whole store at once.

Prices are not converted

Changing the currency keeps the numbers. For example, $45 becomes £45. Prices and open carts are not converted by exchange rate.

To convert by exchange rate, update your prices yourself after you change the currency. Check these too:

One currency per store

A store can't show prices in several currencies or switch them by country. If you sell to different markets in different currencies, you can run more than one store, each with its own currency.
