Sell versions (like Personal and Commercial)

Versions let you sell one product in several forms, like Personal and Commercial, or Large and Small. Each version has its own price. On a digital product, each version also has its own files, links, keys and message.

Versions aren't available for courses or subscriptions.

Add versions

1. Open the product and go to the Price tab.
2. Under Versions, click Sell versions.
3. Enter a Version name, like Personal licence.
4. Set its Price. Turn on Show a sale price or Let customers choose a quantity if you need them.
5. Optional: add a Picture if this version looks different. Without one, it uses the product's cover.
6. On a digital product, add the Files customers get, Links, Keys or codes and a Message after purchase.
7. Click Add version.
8. Click Add a version for each of the others, then click Save.

Once a product has versions, the Price tab is called Versions. The Delivery tab points you to the versions, because each one delivers its own things.

Change, reorder or remove a version

Click a version in the list to open it.

• Change anything, then click Done and Save.
• The up arrow moves it higher in the list.
• Remove deletes it. Click Save to keep the change.

What customers see

Customers pick a version on the product page. If your versions cost different amounts, the price shows as "From" the lowest one. A version's own picture shows when it's picked, in the cart and on the order.

Things to know

• Let customers pay what they want isn't available on a product with versions.
• A product with versions needs at least one version before you can publish it.
• To give a version its own licence keys, save the product first, then add that version's keys.
• Customers get only the files of the version they bought. See Deliver files, links and messages.
