What buyers get after they pay

Buyers don't need an account in your store. After they pay, everything they bought is on their order page, and an email from your store links to it.

Right after paying

The buyer lands on their order page. It shows the order number and says Your receipt is on its way to their email. If the payment is still being confirmed, they see We're confirming your payment and the page refreshes by itself.

The order email

An email in your store's name goes to the address they typed at checkout, with a link to their order page. For products with licence keys, the keys are in the email too.

The order page

Under Your purchases, each product shows what it delivers:

• Files have a Download button, and Download all when there are several. The page says Links work every time you open this page: download links are made fresh each time it opens, with no limit on downloads.
• Links you added, like Notion or Google Drive, open with Open.
• Videos play on the page. They get a Download button only if you let customers download them.
• Courses open with Start the course, Open the course or Continue the course. Progress is saved on that device.
• Licence keys show with a Copy button.
• Physical items show Ships soon, then Shipped with tracking once you post them.
• The message you wrote for after purchase shows under the product.

If a product has nothing to deliver, the page says The store sends this one to you directly. Buyers can also rate what they bought with Post review. If your store has a contact page, Need help with this order? links to it.

Receipts and memberships on Stripe

For orders paid with Stripe, the page has Receipt and billing on Stripe. For memberships it reads Manage or cancel on Stripe, where the buyer can cancel their own membership.

Coming back later

The order page opens with the link from the order email. Without it, the page says For your safety this page needs the link from your order email. The buyer can click Email me my order link to get the email again.

After a refund

A refunded order's page says This order was refunded, and its downloads and lessons no longer open. If something goes wrong, see A buyer can't find their download.
