Storage and file size limits
How much space each plan has, the largest file you can upload, and what to do when storage is full.

Each plan includes storage for your files, pictures and videos. It also sets the largest file you can upload. When you go over, you get a week to make room before your biggest products are hidden from sale.
Limits by plan

Storage is for your whole account, across all your stores. It counts product files, pictures and videos, and the pictures in your store's design.
See what you use
Open Plan and billing. The Storage card shows how much you use out of your limit. It turns amber when it's Almost full and red when it's Full.
Click See what uses space to see your products by size. Delete products you no longer sell, or remove big files from them. The space comes back within a minute.
When storage is full
New uploads are paused until you make room or add storage. The notice that appears says why, and offers the one thing that fixes it: extra storage on a paid plan, or Basic on the Free plan.
If you stay over your limit
An account can end up over its limit without uploading anything, for example after moving to the Free plan. Then:

| From day 8 | Your biggest products are hidden from sale until the rest fits. We email you the list. |
Hidden products show Hidden: storage full in Products. Nothing is deleted: customers who bought them keep their downloads.
Add storage or free up space before the date, and nothing is hidden. If products were already hidden, they stay hidden after you make room: publish them again from Products.
Add more storage
On a paid or lifetime plan, click Add storage on the Storage card: 10 GB for $5 a month. Extra storage is billed monthly, separate from your plan, and you can cancel it any time.
On the Free plan, upgrade to get more space. Basic gives you 10 GB. See Change your plan.
Largest file size
The largest file you can upload depends on your plan: 100 MB on Free, 2 GB on paid plans. A product can have up to 20 files. See Deliver files, links and messages.
