On this page

Marketsy takes 0% commission on every sale, on every plan. Buyers' money goes straight to your Stripe or PayPal account.

What Marketsy charges

  • Commission: 0%. Your Plan and billing page shows Commission 0%.
  • Your plan: Free, or a monthly paid plan. See Plans and what they include.

That's all Marketsy charges you for selling. On the Payments page, the Stripe card's Fees row says the same: "Stripe's own fees. Marketsy adds none."

What Stripe and PayPal charge

Stripe and PayPal charge their own processing fees for each payment. They take these themselves, from the payment, before it reaches your balance. The fees depend on your country, the buyer's card and the currency, so check them with Stripe or PayPal.

  • See Stripe's fees for each payment in your Stripe dashboard. Click Open Stripe dashboard on the Payments page.
  • See PayPal's fees in your PayPal account. Click Open PayPal dashboard on the same page.

Extras you choose

Some things cost extra only if you choose them:

  • extra storage, on Plan and billing (see Storage and file size limits)
  • more AI credits when you run out (see AI credits)
  • your own domain, which you buy from a registrar like Namecheap or GoDaddy

Where the money goes

Marketsy never holds your money. Stripe and PayPal pay you on their own schedules. See When you get your money.
