Marketsy never holds your money. When a buyer pays, the money goes straight to your own Stripe or PayPal account. Stripe and PayPal then pay you out on their own schedules. There is no payout page in Marketsy and nothing to withdraw from us.

Stripe

Stripe sends your balance to the bank account you added when you connected Stripe. Stripe sets the payout schedule for your account and country.

To see your balance, past payouts and the next one:

  1. In your admin, go to Settings → Payments.
  2. On the Stripe card, click Open Stripe dashboard.
  3. Look at your balance and payouts there. You can also check or change your payout schedule and bank account in Stripe.

PayPal

PayPal payments land in your PayPal account. You move money to your bank from PayPal, under PayPal's own rules. Click Open PayPal dashboard on the PayPal card to see your payments.

Payouts can pause

Stripe sometimes needs more details from you, for example to confirm who you are. When it does, the Stripe card shows a box Stripe needs more from you and the status Needs attention. Payouts can pause until it's done.

To get them going again, click Open Stripe dashboard and give Stripe what it asks for. Stripe may take a few hours to check it. PayPal shows its own requests in a box PayPal needs more from you.

What's not in your payouts

  • Fees: Stripe and PayPal take their own fees from each payment. Marketsy takes no commission. See Fees.
  • Test orders: they go through without a payment and aren't counted. See Place a test order.
  • Refunds: the money goes back to the buyer from your Stripe or PayPal balance.
