Logo, menu and footer
Set your logo, menu links and search box, and your footer links, copyright and social profiles.

The header and footer are the same on every page of your store. You change them in the design editor.
- In your admin, go to Online store → Design.
- On the Sections tab, click Header (at the top) or Footer (at the bottom).
- Make your changes and click Save. When you close the panel, the preview reloads with your changes.
Header
| Field | What it does |

| Logo | Your logo picture. Leave it empty to show the store name. |
| Store name | The name shown when there is no logo. |
| Logo goes to | Where the logo links. Your home page, unless you change it. |
| Search box | Lets customers search your products from the header. It's on unless you turn it off. |
| Menu links | The links in your header, in your order. |
How the menu is built
- With your own menu links, the header shows just those, in the order you put them.
- With none, it shows Shop all, up to 5 of your categories, and Blog once you've published a post.
- For each link, pick where it Goes to: one of your pages, categories or products. Categories with no published products are marked "(empty)".
- A menu link can be a dropdown with more links inside it.
- Links that don't fit on one line go under More. On phones, every link is in the menu drawer.
- A link to your home page or to "#" isn't shown. The logo already goes home.
Categories show in the order you set on the Categories page. To put one of your pages in the menu, add a menu link and pick the page under Goes to.
Footer

| Name in the footer | The heading over your footer links. When it's empty, it says Help. |
| Copyright line | Shows "© year and your store's name", then your copyright text. |
| Copyright text | For example: All rights reserved. |
| Social profiles | Links to your profiles. They show as round icons under your logo. |
| Footer links | A column of links, like About or FAQ. |
| Small links | Next to the copyright, like Terms and Privacy. |
| Extra text | A short line under your logo. |
The footer also adds a few things on its own: a Shop column with your categories, a box where visitors sign up for news, and the card and PayPal marks for the ways you take payment. Sign-ups go to your subscribers.
Social profiles
Your social links go in Social profiles in the footer. Paste the full address of each profile. There are icons for Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Threads and Etsy. Any other link shows a website icon.

On the Free plan, the footer shows a Built on Marketsy link. Paid plans remove it. See Plans and what they include.
