Each page of your store is a stack of sections: a hero, a row of products, reviews, some text and so on. You manage them in the design editor, on the Sections tab. Every change goes live as you make it. See Change your store's design.

Add a section

  1. In your admin, go to Online store → Design. Pick the page in the menu at the top.
  2. Click Add section at the bottom of the Sections list. It adds the new section at the end of the page. On the page itself, Add section under any section adds the new one right after it.
  3. Pick a section. Search with Search sections, or browse the groups on the left.

Each card shows the section in your store's look, with your own products. The list can change over time, but the groups look like this, for example:

Change a section

Click the section in the Sections list, or click Edit on its toolbar on the page. Its settings open in a panel on the right. Changes save as you type.

Hide or delete a section

  • Hide: click the eye button (Hide from visitors). Visitors stop seeing the section. You still see it, marked Hidden from visitors. Click the eye again to show it.
  • Delete: open the ⋯ menu and click Delete section, then confirm. On the page's toolbar, click Delete section, then Click again to delete.

Move or duplicate a section

  • Move up and Move down are in the ⋯ menu. On the page, use the arrow buttons on the section's toolbar.
  • Duplicate (in the ⋯ menu) adds a copy right under the section.
  • Copy link to this section (in the ⋯ menu on the page's toolbar) copies a link that opens the page at that section.

The Header and Footer sit at the top and bottom of the list. They're the same on every page, so they have their own settings. See Logo, menu and footer.
