Create pages like About or FAQ

Pages are extra pages for your store, like About, FAQ or a landing page. A new page starts hidden, so you can build it before anyone sees it.

Create a page

1. In your admin, go to Online store → Pages.
2. Click New page.
3. Add a Title, like About us. The page's link is made from the title.
4. Fill in Search and sharing if you like (see below).
5. Click Save. The page shows in the list with a Hidden pill.

Fill it with sections

Click Edit content. The page opens on your store in a new tab, and you edit it right there with the same section tools as the design editor. A new page starts with one Text section: change it, or add other sections and delete it. See Add and arrange sections.

While a page is hidden, you see "Only you can see this page." at the top of it. Visitors can't open it.

Publish it and add it to your menu

A published page isn't in your menu until you put it there.

1. On the Pages list, click Publish next to the Hidden pill.
2. Go to Online store → Design and click Header.
3. Under Menu links, add a link and pick the page under Goes to.
4. Click Save.

You can add it to Footer links in the footer too. See Logo, menu and footer.

Change a page

Open the ⋯ menu next to a page:

• Hide from visitors or Publish.
• Title, link and SEO: change the Title, the Link, Visitors can open it, and Search and sharing.
• View page or Copy link.
• Delete.

Search and sharing has Hide from search engines, Summary for search results, Keywords (up to 5) and Picture for shared links.

If you change a page's link, check the menu links that point to it.
