The sample product and "Make it yours"

The setup chat adds one sample product to your store, with a name, text and picture made by AI. It shows how your products will look. Customers can see it, but nobody can buy it until you make it yours.

How it looks

• In your admin, the product is marked Sample.
• In your store, it has a Sample label and its button reads Sample · not for sale yet. Shoppers also see: "This is a sample product: the shop is still being set up. Check back soon."

Make it yours

1. In your admin, go to Products → All products and open the product marked Sample. Or choose Replace the sample on your admin Home.
2. On Details, change the name and text.
3. On Media, add your own picture.
4. On Price, set your price.
5. On Delivery, add what customers get: your file, a link or a message. The sample comes with nothing to deliver.
6. Choose Save.
7. Choose Make it yours.

If something is missing, you see "To make it yours, add …" with the list. When it works, you see "It's yours now. Customers can buy it." The product is published, and the setup step on Home ticks.

Don't need it?

Delete it instead. Open the product, choose ⋯ and then Delete product. Your admin Home then asks you to add your first product. See Add a product.

Shoppers can reach your products only after you publish your store.
