How the trial works
Try Basic or Premium for 3 days. You see what you pay before you start, and you can cancel before it ends.
On this page
New accounts can try Basic or Premium for 3 days. You pay a small one-time trial fee, shown before you pay. After 3 days the plan's monthly price starts, unless you cancel first.
Start your trial
You start the trial on Stripe's secure payment page. There are two ways in:
- After the setup chat builds your store. It offers the trial and shows what you pay today and the monthly price after it. Click Start my trial with Stripe. See Build your store with the setup chat.
- From your admin. Click Upgrade in the sidebar, or open Plan and billing and click See plans. Under Pick a plan, choose Basic or Premium.
Not sure which plan? See Plans and what they include.
During the trial
Your account is on the plan you picked, so you can edit and publish your store. Plan and billing shows how long is left, like "Trial ends in 2 days".
You can switch between Basic and Premium during the trial. The trial keeps going, and nothing more is charged until it ends. See Change your plan.
Cancel before it ends
Cancel before the trial ends and you won't pay for the plan.
- Open Plan and billing.
- Under Payment method and invoices, click Open billing.
- On Stripe's billing page, cancel your plan.
See Cancel your plan for what happens to your store after that.
Built a store on a free account?
If the setup chat built your store before you started a trial, its admin stays closed until you start one. When you try to open it, the setup chat offers the trial again. Each free account can have one store waiting for its trial at a time.
One trial per account
The trial is only for accounts that never had a paid plan. If you had one before, you pay for the plan from the start, with no trial.
