Sell on another website with widgets
Show a grid of your products on your blog, portfolio or link page by pasting a short piece of code.
Open WidgetsOn this page
A widget shows your products on another website, like your blog, portfolio or link page. It works on any site that lets you add HTML, such as WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix or Carrd.
Make a widget
- In your admin, go to Products → Widgets and click New widget.
- Add a Name, like Blog sidebar. Only you see it.
- For Type, pick Grid of products. It's the one type there is.
- Under What it shows, fill in what you need:
- Heading and Short text: shown above the products. Both are optional.
- Show as a slider: the products slide in a row instead of a grid.
- How many products: 20 unless you change it.
- Only these products: pick products, or leave it empty to show all your products.
- Click Save.
Only published products show in a widget.
Put it on the other site
- On the Widgets page, click Copy code next to your widget.
- On the other site, add an HTML or embed block where you want the products.
- Paste the whole code into it, and save or publish that page.
The widget sizes itself to fit its products. If you edit the widget later, the change shows wherever it's pasted. You don't need to copy the code again.
What visitors see
The widget uses your store's colours and fonts. It shows your store's name, a Shop the store link, and your product cards with their prices. When a visitor clicks a product, it opens on your store in a new tab, where they buy it.
On the Free plan the widget has a small Sell with Marketsy badge. Paid plans remove it.
Manage your widgets
Under each widget you see how many times it was shown, and when it was last shown. Until it's on a site, it says "Not on any site yet". Open the ⋯ menu to Preview, Edit or Delete a widget.
