Amazon affiliate tags

If you recommend products sold on Amazon, your store can send buyers to Amazon with your partner tag in the link. Amazon then knows the sale came from you, under its own affiliate rules.

Add an affiliate product

1. Create a product in your store, or open one. See Add a product.
2. On the Details tab, click + SKU or an affiliate link.
3. Paste the product's Amazon link into Affiliate link.
4. Save and publish the product.

The product's Buy button now goes to that link. On your store it reads Buy on Amazon and opens Amazon in a new tab. Buyers pay on Amazon, so these sales don't show as orders in Marketsy.

Add your Amazon tag

1. In your admin, go to Settings → Affiliate tags.
2. Paste your tag into Amazon partner tag, like username-20.
3. Click Save.

When a buyer clicks Buy on a product with an Amazon link, your tag is added to the link. If the link already has a tag, yours replaces it.
