Add teammates

Teammates help you run your stores. Everyone you invite joins as an admin of every store on your account. Only you, the owner, can invite or remove people.

Invite someone

1. In your admin, go to Settings → Team, or open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Team members.
2. Choose Invite.
3. Type their Email and choose Send invite.

They get an email with a link to join. The invite shows under Invites waiting until they accept.

What teammates can do

Admins run products, orders, marketing and settings on every store on your account. Only you can change the plan or the team.

Everyone on the team gets the new-order emails at the email they sign in with. See Order emails and notifications.

Seats

You, your teammates and open invites each take a seat. The Members card shows how many you've used, like "2 of 5 seats".

• Basic is for one person. You see "Your plan is for one person. Teammates come with a bigger plan."
• Premium has 5 seats, you included.

When all seats are taken, cancel an invite, remove someone, or move to a bigger plan. See Plans and what they include.

How they join

The link in the email works for 7 days and opens a page to join your store's team.

• No Marketsy account yet: they enter their name and a password of at least 8 characters, then choose Create account and join.
• Already have an account: they choose Sign in to accept, sign in, then choose Join the team.

They must use the email address you invited. After joining, they land in your store's admin.

Manage invites and teammates

Open ⋯ next to a person or an invite:

• Send it again sends a new link. The old link stops working.
• Cancel the invite turns off the link in their email.
• Remove from the team takes away their access to every store on your account.
