Change your free marketsy.ai address

Every store gets a free address on marketsy.ai, like https://yourstore.marketsy.ai. The setup chat makes it from your store's name. You can change the first part at any time.

Change it

1. In your admin, go to Online store → Domain.
2. Under Choose an address, pick Free address.
3. Type the new name in the field before .marketsy.ai.
4. Wait for the check. Available means you can have it. Taken means another store has it.
5. Choose Save address.

The page then reloads on your new address.

What you can use

Lowercase letters, numbers and dashes. Capitals become lowercase, and spaces and other characters are removed when you save.

Good to know

• Changing your store's name doesn't change its address. The address changes only here.
• The free address works whether or not your store is published. Visitors see your store there only after you publish it.
• To use a domain you own, like yourstore.com, you need a paid plan. See Connect your own domain.
• To go back from your own domain to the free address, pick Free address on the same page.
