Welcome! Whether you're selling digital products, courses, or memberships, this guide will walk you through every step to launch your store and start making sales — no code needed.

✅ Step 1: Add Your First Product

Create a first product
- Title it
- Pick the right type
- Define the way the user should pay:
  - One-off payment
  - Recurrently
Add a product title, description, price and upload the Product Image
- (Optional) Use AI to help write your description and generate a product image
Upload file assets or build up the course
Save and check the product details page, and improve if needed

🎨 Step 2: Customize Your Storefront

Choose a layout and theme
Upload your logo and set your brand colors
Customize your homepage text and featured sections
Add any intro banners or custom layout blocks

💳 Step 3: Connect Stripe & PayPal

Go to Settings > Payments
Connect your Stripe account (for card payments)
Connect your PayPal account (optional)
Choose your preferred currency

🧪 Step 4: Test a Purchase

Enable test mode or create a test product
Complete a sample checkout
Confirm file delivery and email receipt
Check payment logs in Stripe/PayPal

🌐 Step 5: Set Your Domain

Use a free subdomain (e.g. yourname.marketsy.ai)
Or connect a custom domain:
- Add DNS records (guided setup)
- Set as primary in Domain Settings

🔍 Step 6: SEO & Content

Create blog posts to promote your products
Use SEOBot for suggestions on keywords, tags, and meta titles
Add custom pages like About, Contact, or FAQ
Enable Open Graph previews for better sharing

📈 Step 7: Enable Upsells

Go to Product Settings > Upsells
Select a related product to offer after checkout
Customize upsell title, message, and button text
Preview the flow

🛒 Step 8: Enable Abandoned Cart Recovery

Go to Settings > Abandoned Carts
Enable automated email recovery
Customize your message and delay (e.g. send after 1 hour)
Monitor recovered carts from your dashboard
